Nigel Dennis began sea kayaking at the age of 23, and within three
years had completed the first circumnavigation of Britain, with fellow
kayaker Paul Caffyn. He's led expeditions all over the world since
then, notably around Cape Horn, a circumnavigation of Easter Island,
and an expedition to Antarctica. His most recent expedition was to
South Georgia Island, 800 miles southeast of the Falkland Islands in
the south Atlantic Ocean.
Dennis also has his own line of boats, Nigel Dennis Kayaks, which
are used in heavy expeditions all around the world. And he founded his
own school, the Anglesey Sea and Surf Centre, in Holyhead, North Wales.

A B.C.U L5 sea coach and a A.C.A Open water instructor, Olly has been guiding and coaching for over 20 years running courses and trips all over the world. He worked for 10 years at Plas -y-Brenin the National centre and ran the Rescue department working on the sea and in the mountains.
Loïck Bourdon, Technical Advisor of National Sea Federation. 53 years old, after canoe competition, he started sea kayaking at the Jersey Canoe Club. Improve his skills by touring in Ireland (Connemara) and Cornouailles with Franco Ferreo and Dereck Hairon. On 1980 he made the first Bretagne tour in order to achieve the evolution of the french laws about navigation with sea kayaks. He leaded crossings and expeditions, and taught sea kayak instructors.
Hans had his first experiences in kayaking at the
age of 8 in a homemade plywood kayak. Started seakayaking in 1994 – and
addicted to the salt-water-experience since. His home-waters are Dutch coastal waters like
the Voordelta and the Wadden-Sea. He also paddled in coastal regions in Denmark
and Germany (Baltic sea and North Sea),
Wales and Scotland (Irish Sea). Hans
likes to explore the different disciplines within the kayak-sports
(ww-kayaking, flat water touring and fitness paddling, open canoeing). He is an
“early adaptor” when it comes to new kayak-techniques, gadgets and trends, but he
is also fascinated by Greenland-style paddling and rolling.
Urs Peter Steiner. 65 years of age, Swiss citizen. Canoe and Kayak teacher at the German canoe association (Deutscher Kanu Verband) and since 1983 coach for white water racing and leisure sports.
Since 15 years a member of the saltwater union "Salzwasserunion (www.salzwasserunion.de) ". Since 10 years guide and instructor for sea kayak in the saltwater union, Salzwasserunion.

kayaker throughout the UK and abroad. In 2005 he was part of
a team that circumnavigated Great
Britain in 80 days. In 2006 he was part of a 40 day
unsupported expedition on the east coast of Greenland.
In November 07 he is undertaking an expedition in Madagascar.
Bernhard Hillejan, started Sea Kayaking in 1991. Later he achieved all the group leading, coaching, and assessing qualifications of the Salzwasser Union, the German Sea Kayaking Federation, and the 5-Star Sea of the BCU. He is regularly attending the German and Anglesey Sea Symposia, and paddled many of the rugged European coastlines.

Hakola Dippel, I'm kayaking since 32 years (I'm 47 years old). When I
was a young boy, I explored the creeks, rivers and lakes round my home
(near Kassel in the middle of Germany). In the 80ies I began with
seakajaking in Nordfriesland. 1984 I've made an expedition to the Aland
(between Sweden and Finnland),1986 to the Eolian islands (Sicilia),1987
I've been in Corsica,1988 on the Golfe du Morbihan (Bretagne, France).

SK KAYAK , on 2002 with a group of friends was a founding member of the Club Pagaia and on 2007 founded with other companies AEKMar (Association of Business Sea Kayaking).
Marc Martin started his
activities with sea kayaking 7 years ago. Since then he has been increasing his
skills in sea kayaking and other forms of kayaking until kayak became his
passion in life. During this time he has made several autonomous expeditions in
various areas of the Catalan coast, the Balearic Islands, Basque coast, southern
Italian and the coast of Greenland. Since 2007 he is part time kayak guide and
trainer at SK Kayak and member of the kayak polo team of Pagaia Club.

Both I received from my parents who carried me to the mountain in a backpack and my father built my first kayak on wood and canvas. His first
experience was with only 2 years in his father’s kayak, but he had his first
own kayak when 6 years old. On 1999 he made his first crossing to the island of
Spiekeroog and since then he did not stop. On 2001 he was in Croatia, 2003 in
Finland, in 2005 to the Friesian islands and the Danube (Hungary).
Sociologist and economist, Olga started practicing yoga when 17 years
old and she has been teaching more than 30 years based on Viniyoga. She teaches yoga at AEPY (Associación Spanish Yoga Practitioners) and in 1998 she published the book Introduction to Yoga.
Hi, my name is Martín and I am very glad to participate in this symposium. I started kayaking when 18 years old, surfing the waves at Mar del Plata, Argentina. Afterwards I started whitewater accross all levels and I also play kayak polo.
Without forgetting all this modalities, my passion is travelling and expeditioning with sea kayak and this attracts to fulfil all my desires of adventure.
Hi! My name is José Ginés and as a curriculum I can say I have more
than 300 captures in the last 5 years with more than 900 hours at sea
travelling about 2100 miles.
At least 22 different fish species where more than 20 specimens
weighted more than 3 kg (The biggest 4,8 Kg).
The last 2 years I participate in the Kayak fishing championship
organized by my friend Antuan with the Vila Joiosa Club Nautico.
I am basically self-taught, my experience is personnel but not exclusive, needs to be exchanged with other fishers.
