The Symposium wants:

• To show in depth the practice and techniques of sea kayak autonomous navigation aproaching different aspect of this sport to practitioners, amateurs, authorities and competent institutions.

• To be a learning environment, meeting point of people with similar interest surrounded by a pleasant ambiance. A place to enjoy and to grasp ideas, to learn new things and to discuss until the end related matters.

The Symposium will consist on:

• Three working days, the Symposium itself, on April 4th, 5th and 6th.

• Six more days, the paddling week from April 7th until April 12th, to offer the participants the opportunity of navigation with the invited experts in groups of different levels, putting in practice all the learning and sharing the own knowledge in an incomparable place like The Creus Cape.

• Also during the Symposium some new material will be presented by different companies.

But not only the participants will enjoy, also the families and company of the participants will enjoy of a holiday, discovering the many possibilities that the zone offers:
• Walk and observation in the Natural Parks of Les Alberes, Cap de Creus i Aiguamolls de l'Empordà.

• Tourist Cultural Routes, travelling through the innumerable vestiges of the Greek, Roman and Iberic Civilizations that lived in this zone many years ago

• Romanic Route in l'Empordà, with churches and remarkable monuments

• The figure of Salvador Dalí and his intense relationship with l'Empordà....
